18-Year-Old Mauled by Tiger Gets Proposed to the Next Day

A horrific tiger attack on a young woman left an 18-year-old bloodied with a nearly severed arm after she says she slipped and fell toward the animal’s cage. Somer Stevens, an employee at Tiger Haven in Kingston, Tennessee, screamed out once the tiger latched on. Her boyfriend, also an employee, rushed to help free her from the big cat’s jaws. Somer was rushed to the hospital and has had five surgeries to save her arm. The next day, Somer says her boyfriend proposed to her.
